Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Select PayPal at Checkout

    • During checkout on ThreadVoyage, choose PayPal as your payment method. This will redirect you to PayPal’s login page.

    • Ensure your billing address and order details are correct before proceeding.

    • Enter your PayPal email and password. If your account has two-factor authentication enabled, verify your identity using a one-time code or biometric confirmation

  2. Choose a Funding Source

    • PayPal will default to your PayPal Balance if funds are available. If not, it will use your linked bank account, credit/debit card, or PayPal Credit (if enabled) .

    • To change the funding source for this transaction:

      • Click Change under the payment method during checkout.

      • Select your preferred card, bank account, or PayPal Credit

  3. Review and Confirm Payment

    • Double-check the transaction amount and currency conversion rates (if applicable). PayPal may display a backup payment method if your primary option is unavailable.

    • Click Agree & Pay to finalize the transaction. You’ll be redirected back to ThreadVoyage’s confirmation page.

  4. Post-Payment Actions

    • Save your PayPal details for future purchases if ThreadVoyage offers this option (e.g., "Remember my PayPal account") .

    • Check your PayPal account or email for a payment confirmation receipt.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

  • "No Payment Methods Available" Error:

    • Ensure your PayPal account has a valid funding source (e.g., linked card or bank account). Re-enter your API credentials if ThreadVoyage uses WooCommerce or similar platforms.

    • Clear your browser cache or try a different browser.

  • Payment Declined:

    • Verify your card/bank details in PayPal’s Wallet section. Contact your bank or PayPal Support if issues persist.

  • Currency Conversion:

    • PayPal applies conversion fees for international transactions. Confirm the final amount before approving.

  • Security: PayPal encrypts transactions and offers buyer protection for eligible purchases .

  • Recurring Payments: If ThreadVoyage offers subscriptions, ensure your PayPal billing agreement is set up for automatic renewals.
